Kenneth Dixey - Foundation President
Married to Bambi for 23 years and have four children: Cole, Connor, Dillon (deceased), and Logan (deceased).Graduated LSU in 1977 and LSU School of Dentistry in 1981. Has been in private practice in the Parker area for over 24 years. Member of the Ave Maria Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus . Has served as a Board Member for the Parker Chamber of Commerce. Is a member of the Colorado Dental Association, Metropolitan Denver Dental Society, and American Dental Association. Enjoys scuba diving, sailing, tennis, and golf.
Bambi L Dixey – Foundation Vice President and CEO
I am a New Orleans girl and love to cook Cajun. My degree from LSU is a BS in Occupational Therapy. For five years I worked in Pediatric Occupational Therapy until the birth of my second child. My husband, Ken, and I initiated the formation of the Double Angel Foundation over 5 years ago in memory of our 2 youngest sons, Dillon & Logan. The people who have been a part of this foundation have made a very positive impact on our lives. For this we are grateful. Friends and family continue to support foundation efforts to make boating safe for all families and to build youth baseball fields where children can recreate and develop. My life continues to center around my family. I experience the greatest joy as a wife and mother to my surviving children.
Kathy M. Denson - Treasurer - Finance - Fundraising
Kathy and her husband, Mike, and two children (Katy and Michael) moved from Chicago to Parker in 1988. Kathy received her bachelor's degree in Business with an Emphasis on Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University in 1983. She has been a CPA since 1986 and has had her own practice in Parker for over 10 years. Her practice is devoted to forensic accounting and expert witness work. Kathy's current and past volunteer work includes industry associations, church, and her local homeowners association.
Jodi N. Frank - Carbon Monoxide
Married to David, 2 sons; Michael and Matthew. Member of Ave Maria Catholic Church; Mission trip for Catholic Church 2003, Mexico; Current Mentor and Youth Religious Education teacher. Licensed Dental Hygienist Colorado (1981).Practiced in Parker 16 years with Kenneth M. Dixey, DDS.Team coordinator for Youth Baseball Tournament Teams.DAF Baseball committee board member.Volunteer at Chaparral High School . Past PTO member at Core Knowledge Charter School . Secretary for year of 1998 – 1999. Committee member and chairperson for fund raising events for 7 years. President Chaparral tennis booster, and past President.
Tony Anderson - Baseball - Carbon Monoxide - Banker
Graduate of North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics. 1977 graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. Began in banking at the First National Bank of Casper, Wyoming from 1971 to 1977. Vice President of commercial and agricultural lending. Joined Kiowa State Bank, Kiowa, Colorado in 1977 as president and CEO. Remained until the bank's sale in 1996. A founder and CEO of Century Bank in Scottsdale, Arizona. One of the founders and currently the CEO of Redstone Bank. Formerly, a member of the Elbert County Fair Board, chairman of the Elbert County Building Authority, mayor pro tem for the town of Kiowa, and member of the Colorado 18th Judicial District Nominating Commission. Former treasurer of the Parker Economic Development Council. Past president of the Colorado Bankers Association. In addition to the Double Angel Foundation, an active volunteer with Alliance for Choice in Education.
James T Anest – Baseball - Attorney
Married to Vaso, 3 sons, Theo, John and Michael. Member – Assumption Greek Orthodox Cathedral; Admitted Colorado State Bar (1987) and Wyoming State Bar (1980): Retired Municipal Judge, Elizabeth , Colorado 1998-2004. Shareholder Anest & Brown P.C., James T Anest, PC, practice limited to entity formation, real estate/land use development, and bankruptcy. Prior board member Parker Youth, Inc. (summer and fall baseball leagues) CHSCA – certified high school baseball coach, 1997 to present. Commissioner and Founder – High Plains Competitive Baseball League and director Classics Baseball Tournaments @ Clement Park . Founder of Colorado Bombers Baseball Club 1997 to present and Mile High Angels Baseball Clubs. Former head coach Mustang developmental baseball teams, Denver Rox Baseball Club. Steve Small – Site Administration - Real Estate Developer
Steve graduated from the University of Iowa in 1968 and after serving two years in the Army, came to Colorado . Became a licensed real estate broker in 1971.B ecame a licensed real estate broker in 1971 and is owner of Timbers Real Estate Group. Since that time he has been involved in several real estate developments and is currently involved in the Timbers at the Pinery. He and his wife Bonnie have lived in Parker area since 1974 and have two daughters. He was an owner and director of the First National Bank of Parker, which became Wells Fargo Bank. He is currently on the Wells Fargo Community Board. He is a member of the Parker Methodist Church and serves on the Board of the Parker Economic Development Council.
Dale Farmer - Baseball Chairman
Born in Everett, Washington and married 59 years to Dolly. Three children and four grandchildren, who all reside in Colorado. Dale attended the University of Washington before entering the United States Navy and served 2 years active and 6 years inactive during the Korean conflict. Dale worked for Standard Oil in CA for 34 years. He has lived in Colorado since 1977 and the town of Parker for 20 years. Dale has been a volunteer for Red Cross, Visiting Nurse, Meals on Wheels, Douglas County Senior Advisory Council, President of the Parker Senior Center (1991-2001) and served on numerous committees for the Town of Parker. Dale was Parker's Interim Town Administrator and served twice on the Parker Town Council and Director of Guaranty Bank of Parker. Council for the Parker Economic Development Cornerstone Award (2000); Jim Adkins Community Service Award (1995); Man of the Year-Town of Parker (1993); Douglas County Senior Ambassador Award (1998); Daughters of the American Revolution Award (1996); Citizenship Award (1996). Dale was honored as a Channel 7 Everyday Hero (2008) after being nominated by Double Angel Foundation. Currently, Dale is a member of the South Metro Fire Safety Foundation.
Michael J. Nicola - Finance/Carbon Monoxide Committee
Mike has been a resident of Parker for over 17 years. He is married with two kids, a step-son in the Army and a daughter in High School. Mike grew up on a small ranch in western Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science degree. For nearly thrity years, Mike has been in the Financial Services business as a stockand commodity broker and a Senior Vice President for a large financial institution. Mike is a member of Ave Maria Catholic Church, and a former Assistant Scout Master. Mike currently sits on the Board of The Traditional Cowboy Arts Association. Lastly, Mike has served as a Reserve Aurora Police Officer and Douglas County Sheriff's Officer for the past 25 years.
