Bambi L Dixey

Bambi and her husband, Ken, lost their two youngest sons in August of 2000. They founded the Double Angel Foundation in their memory. The Foundation has thrived, building a memorial ballpark and sponsoring young ball players who love baseball or softball. Bambi considers it an honor to continue their work of spreading the carbon monoxide safety message in the boating industry. Their family consists of two adult sons, an adult niece and a grand nephew who they spend much of their time with. Ken and Bambi enjoy the Colorado mountains and the ocean. They love to travel and enjoy their friends.

Following the tragic deaths of two of their sons, Ken and Bambi Dixey started the Double Angel Foundation to make a positive impact on the youth of today and tomorrow. Their goal was to create baseball-playing opportunities for children and to raise awareness about the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning on houseboats.With amazing support and help from the community, the Foundation completed construction of a baseball complex in Parker, CO. The Foundation and its Board of Directors also developed special needs programs and scholarship opportunities so that baseball can be accessible to all children.
