The construction of the baseball complex was completed in 2006. While it continues to be owned by the Double Angel Foundation, the Double Angel Ballpark has been leased and managed by Gameday Baseball since 2012.
For DAF, the ballpark offers team play opportunities to enhance the self-esteem of Colorado’s youth, while fostering good sportsmanship, leadership and citizenship skills. Gameday was a good fit. It is a premier baseball organization that focuses on developing faith, character and excellence in young athletes.
The complex has two outdoor fields and a 30,000-square-foot bubble that allows year-round play. The bubble features a full-size infield, five full batting cages, a skylight to enhance the feel of playing outdoors, pitching area with 4+ mounds and plates, and a strength and conditioning area.
The three fields host about 30 teams from across the Denver metro area and western states each year. In 2018, more than 30,000 fans attended the more than 1,000 games that were played at Double Angel Ballpark.
